August 2001 Summary

Migration continued to be evident during the month, with a good variety of waders and other passage birds. Pick of the birds included a count of six Little Egrets and a  flock of 21 Black Terns. Also present a Whimbrel and Common and Sandwich Terns. The Yellow-legged Gull was again present towards the end of the month.
