February 2001 Summary

With the outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease across the UK, the access to the reservoir was prevented for the entire month, resulting in all sightings being made from the roadside. Gull and Duck numbers rose at the start of the month before somewhat tailing off as the month wore on. Highlight was the Sinensis Cormorant, the continental sub-species of the Cormorant. A single Kingfisher was also a good find.
