July 2002 Summary

Water levels remained high until the very end of the month, which obviously had an effect on the birdlife. Highlights came in the form of a juvenile Mediterranean Gull and a single adult Great Black-backed Gull. A single fly through Hobby was a good sighting. Several species successfully raised young birds, with juvenile birds present throughout the month. Some migration was also evident as the month wore on.
