November 2003 Summary
A return to the form seen in the late summer. The Water Pipit present at the end of October was present at the start of the month. However, this was eclipsed by a 1st winter drake Green-winged Teal, only the third SBR record. More amazingly however, was an even rarer visitor for the site, with only the second confirmed Avocet.
