April 2004 Summary

The first winter Kittiwake remained at the reservoir well into the month, and was joined by an adult bird briefly. Other highlights included adult Sandwich and Arctic Terns. Summer migrants continued to return with a single male Wheatear being the pick of the passerines. An unconfirmed report of an Osprey was not unexpected for the time of year, and a single Hobby was seen.
