January 2004 Summary
The New Year got off to a flying start with some really good birds being seen. Highlights included last years Green-winged Teal putting in a brief appearance and a redhead Smew present briefly and unfortunately not fully reported (so many birders missed this one). As well as these site rarities in the form of a Barn Owl and Woodcock were exceptional.
