June 2004 Summary

In what turned out to be fairly quiet month, the unexpected highlight was the second ever Red Kite at the reservoir. The only other highlights were a fly-through Hobby and the falling water levels attracted a few waders, most notably two Ringed Plover and a couple of Redshank.
