September 2004 Summary

Considering the still low water levels, September was a poor month for birds, with the few highlights being four Black Terns early in the month, and the long-staying adult Yellow-legged Gull. Two Ruff were the pick of the waders, while the best of the passerines included two Whinchats and a Yellow Wagtail.
