A smashing site with a whole host of information on the reservoir, including all sorts of wildlife. Also a record of recent sightings at the reservoir.

 

Portland Bird Observatory

One of the best sites relating to birding in the south-west of England. Updated daily with bird sightings, and a whole host of information about the wildlife on the Isle of Portland, and an online shop.

 

Somerset Ornithological Society

An excellent site relating to the county, with details of the Society and sites in and around Somerset for birdwatching. A message board facility is an ideal way of finding out latest sightings of birds in the county, and other interesting birding news.

If you have an interest in birds and want to meet like-minded people, check out this website for details on the nearest RSPB Members Group to Sutton Bingham. The group holds a variety of indoor meetings and field trips and they are always happy to welcome along anyone interested in birds.
