Stork, 59, of 118 Thorne Street, Jersey City, custodian of the Sixth Precinct police station, Jersey City, and an athlete in his younger days, died at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning at his residence of a heart condition. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Stork had always resided in the 12 th Ward. He was appointed custodian of the stationhouse Oct 3, 1922. Mr. Stork, who was not called into service during World War I, was an outstanding baseball player with the old Jersey City Egberts, one of New Jersey best known semi-professional clubs prior to World War I and after it. Another player on the team was Harry J. Thourot, now mayor of Union City. The custodian's only club affiliation was 12 th Ward Regular Democratic Club.
