Robert Glen 'Bob' Stork Obituary

MONTE VISTA, Calif. — Robert Glen Stork, 75, of Monte Vista, Colo., died Sept. 5, 2003, at the SLV Regional Medical Center.

No services were held, but interment was at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.

Stork was born on April 29, 1928, in Riverton, the son of Grant A. and Beatrice (Smith) Stork.

He was a 50-year member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, a Shriner, and a musician who played trumpet for many years in dance bands.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1955.

Stork worked for many years in the oil fields of Wyoming and later in life was self-employed and enjoyed his woodcrafts and family.

He is survived by his wife, Ilamae, of Monte Visa; one son, Ronald Stork of Douglas; three stepdaughters, Kathy Walters of Highland Ranch, Colo., Bette Donaldson of South Fork, Colo., and Patty Bryan of Neillsville, Wisc.; one stepson, Ray Montgomery of Oregon City, Ore.; one sister, Beulah Stork of Riverton; 15 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one brother.

Arrangements were under the direction of Strohmayer’s Funeral Home of Monte Vista and Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.
