**My Bridge**

There is a bridge over the drain which runs through my property. The drain was recently tidied up with an excavator but the bridge is still in need of renovation. Due to lack of rain, the drain is almost empty. One of the ponds near the bridge has very tall reeds and water lilies. It is a haven for ducks and red bills which hide among the reeds.

Adult Red bill	Red Bills My red bills have had babies. I spotted four little black things running into the pond. Closer inspection revealed nothing because they were impossible to find amongst the reeds but later they came out again and revealed themselves as baby red bills. I think there are two lots of babies, one lot slightly older than the other.
