Weather Instruments
Here is my array
of weather instruments that allows me to keep track of the weather
in my part of Clybucca. The rain guage is very tricky. The collector
sits on the verandah railing and transmits the rainfall readings
to the receiver which is inside the house. The receiver keeps
track of daily and accumulative rainfall for nine days. No rain
to report so far but it does work. I tipped water into it to simulate
rain! The weather station on the kitchen wall allows me to determine
the settings for the reverse cycle air conditioner: above 30,
I cool, below 20, I heat. There are three dials showing humidity,
air pressure and temperature. the minimum/maximum thermometer
is on a verandah post in the shade.
