From what I have found, many insurance policies let you commit suicide
and your family still gets the money. You do, however, have to be
enrolled in the plan for at least 2 years. (Colorado has only a 1
year waiting period, I believe). Derek Humphry talks about it in
"Final Exit."

So my question is, have any of you ever purchased life insurance and
decided to wait it out? I think it would be a nice gesture for my
family. However, I don't know how the insurance companies would take
it if someone in their twenties comes in and wants life insurance.
