Dressage Phase - See Horse Trials Group Rule Book for permitted bits. Only one noseband may be worn, this may be a cavesson, drop, flash or grakle.
Permitted Tack - Breastplates
Forbidden Tack - bit guards, tongue straps, neckstraps, martingales, boots & bandages (a substitute for a conventional shoe is not considered a boot in this context and is allowed)

Show Jumping & Cross Country - See HorseTrials Group Rule Book for permitted bits. Only one noseband may be worn, this may be a cavesson, drop, flash or grakle.
Permitted Tack - Boots & bandages, neckstraps and breastplates. Bit guards, provided they are made of rubber and are smooth on both sides, are allowed. Properly made tongue guards, which are detached from the reins and bit are permitted. A running martingale only, with stops fitted on the reins or an irish martingale is permitted, other martingales are not permitted.
