The Key Club year is almost ending so that means the board is going to be replaced especially since most of us are seniors. Hopefully, our three juniors on the board, Vickie Lau, Cindy Nguyen and Andy Ton, will continue to be a part of the board next year. They will be very helpful to all the new coming officers. You all see us working hard with Key Club events and sometimes it can be stressful because you got to get everything organized but with a little help from us, I’m sure whoever becomes part of the board next year will do fine. Here’s a lil recap on what positions are open: President, Vice President, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Project Chair, Tech Chair, Publicist, Historian, and Sergeant of Arms. For the high positions you have to receive the most votes from the club. But for other positions they are appointed to you meaning us board members decide who gets that job. If you have any questions about any of the positions, don’t hesitate to ask the former board members. We WANT you to ASK QUESTIONS about the positions. That shows that you’re really interested in being a board member for the sake of the club not to just put it on your transcript. And honestly, if this is just another thing to add on to your transcript, then it’s not a good idea to do because you may jeopardize the club and we don’t want that to happen. Applications will be sent out soon so make sure you turn it in on time. Listen up for deadlines at the meetings and on the bulletin.
