Strange day?

Everywhere seems so quiet today,

its as though all have gone away,

why is when your late for work,

people want to stop and talk,

but when your in need of a friendly smile,

theres no one around for a least a mile,

maybe its me and the worlds just the same,

I just want to see someone with a familiar name.
