This page last updated on Thursday, September 25, 2003 To do list (no particular order): - Brightwork (Argh!!! Need to keep that wood looking bristol!) - Update the electrical system to improve grounding system, replace old wiring with new tinned copper.
What the Future Holds: - All short-term plans for a cruise have been delayed for one reason or another. Both Mariella and I have received our real estate licenses in Florida so we're currently working with my parents to help them build their real estate and mortgage business.
September 25, 2003 - Thursday - Sunny in the morning with Heavy rain showers in the afternoon At home in Miami, FL - Not a whole lot can be said for the lapse in maintaining the synergy web site. I guess most of my energy has been spent working (a lot) and supporting the Florida Marlins at the stadium (Go Fish!). The tv is tuned in to the game in the next room, and it looks like we're going to sweep the Phillies for the third straight time this year. - Synergy is well taken care of and docked behind a beautiful estate on the Miami River. The house is owned by the Ott family, who apparently has quite a history in South Florida. We removed all of Synergy's loose wood covers and drawers and brought them to the house for refinishing. The previous owner had used Cetol and/or Teak Oil before we bought her. I plan on stripping all of it down to the bare wood and applying a minimum of seven coats of quality varnish. - For some strange reason, when I visit Synergy on the weekends or during the week, I always find one of the knots on the awning tied in a peculiar way. I think a local powerboater is coming aboard and dreaming of what could have been!
