Mosaics intrigue me endlessly...

A mess, but an interesting mess (at least I think so!).

This is my first attempt at painting a lovely photograph--
I don't do it justice, but it's great fun trying :)

Based on a Chihuli creation at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas
The original is made from glass.. exquisite!
