History
Rat Fink a Boo-Boo started somewhere in the apocalyptic 2000. Curtis D. Whale and Swami, drummer and guitarist from the disbanded Thors Provoni, found a shoulder to cry on : Zaman’s. They knew him from the recording he made for Thors Provoni in 1996 in his world famous Cat Farm studio. They kicked the retired Zaman, who had conquered the world in the 80s with Rock Rally winner Ze Noiz, in his ass and nailed a guitar onto his chest. Zaman and Curtis played together in Mellow, somewhere in 1993. With Denham singer Tristan, RFABB started as an occasional thing, putting together a small set of foot stomper songs, ready to play a party gig. “This is fun !” The songs they chose had one thing in common : basic 60s and 70s, straight from that cave you know, no hanky panky synthesizer string quartet techno horny blazer section crap. The real stuff : bass-drum-guitar-throat. “This is it !” Swami and Curtis, playing together for about more than 5 years, but now as a rhythm section, play like a solid block of rock, searching for the exact resonance frequency of everyone’s spine ! Zaman’s demonic guitar sound will make you kneel and pray for some more of that punk rock thang ! Tristan’s coolness will guide you into a world of melodic and beatnik garage sounds, spitting his greasy motor oil onto your eardrums. “Slam, bam, honka !” After two party gigs, the four lads decided to get married and live a menage-à-quatre. Being musical archeologists, they build their set up to 30 songs that are rarely played live by others, and decided to grab their chance into the serious world of composer bands so here they are ! “Whamma gamma gobba !” Whatever !
