Volunteers are needed. A special thank you to Chuck Pelle and John Sherrer for manning the display table at the Curtiss-Wright hanger at Owen’s Field Saturday morning at the Celebrate Freedom Airshow on the weekend of the third of November. The 2 hour display went very well and we were able to pass out flyers for both our club and Sumter’s. We managed to come through it with only a few broken antenna wires. Again a big thanks you to both of these members for helping us to promote the clubs. The Celebrate Freedom Show was as great as always with over 50 vintage aircraft on display. With three aircraft making their first appearance at the show. Those being an A-26 “Invader” a Yak-9 and The Berlin Airlift Historic Foundation’s C-54. This show gets bigger every year so make sure you get out to it next year. |
