Well Hello there, hope all is well with you. As for me I am " finer than frog hair and hangin in there like a hair in a biscuit." So, I hear tale that you wanna know a lil' about this Alabama Swamp Rat. Well, here is the story. I was born in South Alabama, raised by grandparents that became share croppers at the end of The Great Depression of the twenties.

Most of my stories are true and based on actual events that took place in my life. Some of them contain a certain degree of humor, while others are sad, but they are all about a people and a way of life that will soon vanish and only be a part of history, for generations yet to come.

We live in a world today with technology that wasn't even conceived in the day and age that I was raised. The progress that mankind has made has also destroyed a way of life that has no place in todays society. A way that was hard but simple, that taught values and principals. Where a gun was used to put meat on the table. A time when prayers were said and the Bible read. If you neighbor couldn't help you , he wasn't out to hurt you. I hope that you enjoy my stories maybe you can even relate to some of them.
