Well, a new day and a new publisher. I mailed "The Secrete Of The Southern Cliffs" today to ACEN Press. There is a guy that works down at the post office, where I go to drop off my manuscripts. He finally asked me today what they were. When I told him, his whole face lit up. "Really?" He said. "Well, when you're famous, I can tell everyone you mailed all your manuscripts from here!" "Sure, why not..." I told him. Too funny!
Today I checked my Royal email from the EK site. I only check it every couple of days. I opened it and had about 50 emails! "Yikes!" I thought. But then I started to check them. All but two were spam! Good grief!
Lucan checked out a site bid for Coronation, yesterday. He fell in love with one in Rhode Island. So it looks like Coronation will be in my home barony after all! That's kewl. September 30, 2006 is the date.
I did a bunch of edits on my web site. I even hid an Easter egg. Too much fun! I have one of my poems up now and I plan to add more this week. But! First I have to settle down and write a query letter for "Dr. Maroon..." I have a good feeling about that story so I need to get it out ASAP. I don't know why I have such a phobia about writing query letters! I guess it's because it's the first thing a publisher looks at and possibly the last before he tosses it out. It has to be perfectly written and eye catching. Well... enough stalling... time to work.
Cheers for now.
