This photo shows His Highness Lucan and Sir Kenric leading the men into the woods battle at Vinland Raids.

Good afternoon!

We called today and Baltasar seemed in good spirits. Lucia is still sedated, but everyday brings more hope! Lucan plans to visit again tomorrow after work.

Yesterday we traveled to the Cape for Vinland Raids. What a good time! It was very hot, but our East Kingdom fighters showed so much heart! The woods battle went well and the training exercises afterward were intense and well executed.

So funny, just before the woods battle I was talking with the fighters, helping to buckle this and tie that. (Any non-fighter that has hung out with the fighters, knows what I'm talking about.) Anyway, Sir Oskar asked me for a favor. "Sure..." I said. "What can I get you? Do you need a bottle of water?" "Um... I was talking about favors..."He says. "Sure, no problem... What do you need?" "I mean one of your favors, Your Highness..."

OMG... What a blond moment! He didn't mean a favor, he meant A FAVOR... I laughed so hard I nearly snarffed! I told him afterward, he'd have to forgive me, that I was new to this after all. A young fighter who didn't get the joke took me seriously and asked how I liked being royalty for the first time. Oskar told him oh, it's not her first time. She was the Princess of some Principality once... What a brat! But it just made me laugh all the more. What fun!

I had a great time hanging out during the day with Kelly who brought lots of strawberries and listen to me regale her with my latest story plots. I also had visits from our hosts Baron Cerdic of Colbridge and Baroness Caitlin Fraser; the Baron and Baroness of Smoking Rocks. Her Excellency even gave me an interview for my event documentaries. (As soon as the Royal Website is complete, I should be able to start posting them.)

Our guys, (Brennan, Di, Cullyn, Turi, Constantine, Angus Bruce, Atraidies and the many more), did a great job making sure that I had thrones set up and a pavilion and stuff. Thank you all!

The person who we were supposed to give out a backlog scroll to was a no show, so after the fighting about thirty of us went to the Lobster 'BOAT', (not TRAP)Image for dinner. What a great way to wind up the day! The food was good, but the camaraderie was the best!

What a great event and weekend!
Cheers;
Yana
