Lucia was awake for much of the day today. She even started PT!

This weekend is Boredom War. I went to the EK website and noticed that this is the 20th one... YIKES! I went to the first one! Sean Chuchulan said, "Hey, there's no war this time of year... I'm bored, let's have a war..." Ha! I'm betting that at the time he had no idea it would become one of the staples of the East Kingdom's summer events.



I met Sean when I lived in Angelspur, (that's Troy NY). It's where I found the SCA. My first event was Harvest Moon. The people I met back then are still around. There was Mauve, who lives in Malagentia, (Maine), Hawk who was East Kingdom Chirurgion for a time, Sean, Armand and his sweetie, Maria, who were later married.



Just recently, I ran into Armand and Maria at the Wars of the Roses. Above is a picture of them and their lovely daughter. After Harvest Moon, Mauve and I along with Sean and his girl, traveled with Armand and Maria to Ice Dragon... (The event was held in Buffalo, NY.) It's also where I met Lucan... But that's another story...
