Today is hump day! Wahoo!

We got a call from Lucia tonight... That's right! I said Lucia!  She's feeling better and well enough to give us a call! She said she had been up and walking a little bit today and that the doctors were very happy with her progress. They said that since the illness came on so fast, it didn't have time to hurt her other organs.  It looks like our friend will be out of the woods very soon! Woot, woot!!

With everything on track for the reign, I spent my day working on my writing. I crafted a new query letter for Dr. Maroon, packed it up and mailed it to a publisher called Peachtree press. Here's keeping my fingers crossed...

I also worked on Dump That Fear and  got through all the small edits. Now all I have to do is take care of a couple of revisions and then it's back to Karl. I'm hoping to get that done in the morning.

I worked on my website and updated my "story time" link. Now I have two stories up there. Well, one poem and one story. Plus I got another three pages done on Silver Spoons. It's getting pretty steamy! When I put it up on my site, I'm going to have to attach a warning label...

Tonight we have a good crowd, as it is fight practice night. I just came back in from snapping a few pictures.  Constantine's fighting looks to me like it is improving by leaps and bounds! He was very happy because he built himself a new shield today and I got his favorite fighting boots back, all patched up from the cobbler. At Vinland I said to Feral, "Hey look, I made my own East Kingdom fighter!" He told me, "Not bad kid, not bad..." Here is a little known trivia fact... Feral is Catlin's Godfather. Kewl, huh!

Cullyn called tonight. He and Edana are spending Friday night here, for Boredom war on Saturday. Lucan said there are others crashing here as well. I'm not sure who they are, but I know it will be fun!

Joe, Lucan's dad called tonight. He and my mother-in-law are in China. How kewl is that? Lucan told them that when they stand on the Great Wall of China, his mom has to shake her fist in the air and say, "God-dam Mongolians! You broke my shitty wall!"  (South Park referance)

Rayn called tonight.  She is sending out the check for the white linen to Fygen. It looks like our boys are going to get their white linen dalmatics for Pennsic after all! Wahoo! It's my dream come true! Di made a beautiful design for trim and Devoss has sent that out for a sample. Hopefully everything will come together and be ready for the July 29th dalmatic sweat shop! I know it's cutting it close, since it is just a few days before Pennsic, but I myself can make at least ten in a day, more if Fygen has them cut out. All I need are a few helpers and we will rock the house!
