Hmmm... Looks like armor has many uses... 40 year celebration, 2005
Thursday and almost the weekend! Wahoo!
Lucan went to an awards night for work. He is actually giving out several of the awards. How funny is that? Wherever he goes, he gives out awards!
Anyway, he was planning to stop in and see Lucia today, but as he's not home yet, I don't have an update for how she is doing. But I should have one for Friday.
Michel came over tonight. We went over Sfandra's Russian Garb books again. We were supposed to do that at boredom, but it might rain. It was safer to look at them this way.
I am getting a very good picture of how our garb should look for the reign. Woot! We also went over Russian jewlry. It's a good thing I have a sister who likes bling! I am so not a girlie-girl... I forget about that sort of thing most times.
She also showed off her new car. I am so happy for her. It's a stick shift. She'll have to teach me how to drive it someday. I never drove a stick before. I wouldn't know the first thing about it.
I had a hard night last night. I think it must have been a 24 hour thing. I'm fine now, though I took a sick day. I thought to myself, hmmm, got the day at home, I'll catch up on a bunch of stuff. Yeah, well, ok, so that didn't work out so well. Course if I had felt better I would have been more productive. I did manage, with Cat's help, to open up the back end of my living room. It's where I'm going to put the temporary sewing room. It's getting that time of year. Sew, sew, sew...
I also wrote a bunch more for Silver Spoons. I am really liking this story! Well, that's it for tonight.
Cheers!
