Whew... I have been cut/copy/pasting, organizing and sending responses to award recommendations off and on all day since 8:30 this morning. I have all of the ones that have been sent to me so far grouped between two documents. I know there will be more tonight, but it can't be as daunting as today. I figure this weekend, while I'm at GNE, I can divide them up into orders and figure out the blurbs.

Towards the end, around 4:30pm, I have to admit that I was getting a little loopy. Lucan was forwarding all the ones he got in his email, adding to all the ones I got in my email...  And even though I tried to sift out the duplicates, I know I probably sent the same response to a few people more than once.

Heck, poor Dugan, who lives in Quebec, must be shaking his head tonight, because I know for a fact that I sent him at least 3 responses.

Ah, well, I may be a little dippy at times, but at least I get things done.

Lucan and Cat set up my brandy new sewing machine that my mother-in-law got me for Christmas. It's sitting over there glaring at me with its shiny little lights. I know I got to sew... I know... I know... But I'm tired... whimper, wine...

One of the recommendations I got today cracked me up! I am paraphrasing, but it went along the lines of "Greetings unto Our most regal Princess, a true swan among geese." OMG! I laughed so hard I nearly fell off my seat at work. (In case you don't know, my device is a swan!)

I got another one that was a running conversation from one man to another, that MUST have been sent to me by mistake... again paraphrasing, "Hey, TRH's polls close tonight, you better write in that guy we talked about. Tell them that he does good stuff! And don't forget to bring the poi this weekend!"

Ok, what I want to know is...  What is poi and is he bringing any for me? I almost wrote that back to him, but not knowing him, I didn't want to offend him. Not everyone gets my sense of humor.

I have been trying to squeeze in writing in-between everything else and it's just not working. Sigh. I need more hours in my day! I am inching along with Silver Spoons though. I estimate its completion with about 9,000 more words. Normally that wouldn't even make me flinch, but argggg... Is that sewing machine just humming, or is it now growling at me?

I apologized to Brennan, my chief retainer today. I must have sent him 80 different emails this week, with a hundred different tasks.  I have him doing everything from sending updates to our website, contacting people, setting up meetings, bothering him about emails I sent him and than  lost... ect, ect, ect...

He just takes it all in stride. He says he can take anything I have to throw at him. (Ha, and you all thought a Princess's retainer just held a basket! Double Ha!) Of course he is a much kinder sweeter Brennan, now that he is married to his lovely wife. (See picture above) Isn't she gorgeous? No wonder why he's such a happy boy!

Well, I've got some sewing to do... Or maybe I'll just hide in my room and hope that the evil sewing machine monster glares at someone else...

Good night!
