POLLS ARE DONE... Hallelujah!

I sent them off to Caitlin Davies and they should be showing in a theater near you. Well, you know, not a theater, but in an email addressed to you and well, not all of you, only those in the Orders that get polled, but you know what I mean...

Lucan edited our letter to Pikestaff and so that is off in the mail to Shannon Gallowglass as well. We are still struggling a little bit with the cover art, but it will be done. (Thankfully, she gave us a couple extra days!)

I made Nigel and Dunkin a Dalmatic each. TRM's boys are so little compared to my monsters. They were really pretty easy to make and fast, because of the size... But now it's back to making Dalmatic's for Lucan and Cat.

This weekend is the sweat-shop where we will be making about 90 dalmatics, or something crazy like that. By the time we are done, I'll be seeing dalmatics in my sleep! It's going to be so kewl though. It will be a dream come true to see all the VDK boys in white. It's going to be drop dead sexy!

Today I was given the tokens that I have been waiting for, for the East Kingdom Champions. They look great and should make a nice little keepsake for them. They were made for me by Alysander. I can't wait to give them out at the war!

I got an email from both Gina and Marcia today to show me a picture in the Romantic Times Mag. Lucan, Gina and I are on page 118. It was a picture of us having breakfast at one of the functions of the RT convention. Marcia says we are now SuperStars! Woot!

Here is Gina (Ding lee Ing- in the SCA)'s blog with the picture...

She also is in NYC at the Barns and Noble, even as we speak, 8:00pm, getting the last two copies of the RT Mag. One for me and one for her. Too cool!

Marcia is a new friend that we met at the RT Con. Here is her website...

She is a talented writer who has just had her first book published called "Half Breed".

It's so funny how things work! I went all the way to Florida to meet Marcia by chance and it turns out that we are both from Upstate NY. We both love to write and we both have a rabbit. Freaky weirdness, or freaky cosmic? Not sure which, but I love Marcia! She is way cool, and my hero for getting published. It is my hope that by the next RT con I will be able to change my lemon yellow ID tag from "aspiring writer", to the blue one that reads "published author" like my buddy Marcia!

Now that will be cosmic!

Cheers,

Yana
