Tatsunoko are releasing Gatchaman 1 on DVD starting 20th May 2000 with two titles released each month and 4 episodes on each disk. For more information, go to the Tatsunoko Fanclub site.
2. What is being shown on TV at the moment?
Eagle Riders was screened on Channel 10 on Cheez TV in late 1997. Let's hope they repeat it.
3. How do I obtain Gatchaman merchandise?
Your best bet is to go to a store specialising in anime or cartoons. Click here for a list of stores in Sydney and Melbourne. Ordering through the internet or planning a trip to a place like Japan or Singapore are also other valuable methods.
4. How do I get in contact with other Gatchamaniacs?

5. How do I play NTSC videos of Gatchaman on my VCR?
The video standard that Australia uses is PAL, whilst the U.S and Japan use NTSC. So if you have an NTSC video, you'll need to have a VCR capable of playing NTSC. You'll also need a TV with a vertical hold knob (for old TVs) or that can show NTSC (for new ones).
6. Was that show on ABC many years ago, Battle of the Planets, a version of Gatchaman?
Yes! Battle of the Planets was an English translation of the first series of Gatchaman done by Sandy Frank in 1978.
7. How can I get copies of Gatchaman on video?
