I have strawberries now and my purple oxalis
is showing off
and just
beginning to bloom. My orange tree smells
like abit of
heaven and my wild
rose (in honor of grandaddy) is loaded
with
buds! My
walking iris has
set and the flower stalks on my amaryllis seem
to grow
before my eyes!
My camellia is about finished but the deep red
blooms are
planted
'forever' in my minds eye (in honor of my
good friend
who has now gone on)
And the garlic chives, they are always pretty
are about to
burst open :+) The leaves on my
hibicus are so pretty which in my heart gives
cause for
joy...for in a
few short months I know they too will set
bud. And my
kalanchoe plant is
blooming! But it's confused cause usually
it's mid summer before it does ...LOL The
daylilies are looking strong and sturdy and
when all the
iris have put
on their show they'll soon blossom out as
well. And of
course my little
herbs they always bring a big smile...just to
touch them
they smell so good and such a delightful
nibble here and there. My azalea is a show
stopper and a
miniature at that...but, my favorites are
about
finished this family of pansies, violas,
johnny-jump-ups
and sweet violets Till cool weather comes
again...
What use to be my wind chimes of miniature
birdhouses all
have fallen to
the ground... You see a little bird decided
perhaps the
twine that hung
the little houses just might be much better
for
nest!!! ...LOL
Three days
she has worked to make them all fall down
...
at first I'd
chase her
off or my going in and out would make her fly
away.
I then watched quite carefully to see where my
twine
might be I
discovered in my hanging hoya plant (that
Crockett had given to me, as a
birthday gift in 98) that it would be home
for some
sweet babies one day:+)
I thot do I want to be angry for these broken
wind chimes or thrilled and
honored that I was chosen to play hostess
while I still have my eyes to see?
Which one do you think I went with? ...LOL
Well within a flash I soon realized
... AH, a gift and
a blessing
my good Lord had given me! AMEN
Oh, how I love to look at the flowers and
plants and the
hills back home. I love the butterflies
and
birds Of
Course Hummers and Swans are my
favorites! And I love
to look into a child's face and see the love
and wonder
there:+) I love to look at beautiful
graphics and read a
good book...and so many things I
appreciate! I tend to
drink and sip it all in as fast as I
can... I
gather all my memories and plant them in my
mind and
heart For you see I have a condition known
as
Retinitis Pigmentosa And the
doctor's they
keep telling
me, I just won't see one day. I have so
much I want
to
see and do... I've a book I want to
write... A host
of friends and family My daughter is
Beautiful and I
want to always see her smiling face:+) I
dream to watch
my son walk
free... No, I've not time for this!
...LOL So if I tend to carry on about all the things
I hold so dear...
and I load my pages with every pretty graphic from the set
Please try to understand
Within my mind I plant this garden and an arbor in my heart
For if I lose this battle
just remember I've won the war
I'll be always and forever
'STILL STANDING'
With this garden as I Smile..:+)
