Sensei Demonstrating Kata Gankaku

This session is dedicated to the practice of Advanced Kata. It is intended for any members who know all the Kyu Grade Katas (Taekyoku Shodan (Kihon Kata), all the Heian Katas and Tekki Shodan). In this session students will learn and practice the Sentei katas (Brown belt - Jion, Enpi, Bassai Dai, Hangetsu and Kanku Dai) , Yūdansha  level Katas (Dan Grade- Katas such as Nijushiho, Unsu, Gankaku, Kanku Sho, etc) or the Kyu Grade Kata's in greater depth. If you want to attend please speak to Sensei Patrizio in one of the classes.

All training sessions are taken by Sensei Patrizio Camilini (5th Dan).

Some gradings and school holiday training sessions are held at Saint Benedict's Church Hall, Uplands (check news for training changes and upcoming grading dates - Sensei will also announce in training sessions any changes of location) for details of this location, or directions please click the map link above.

 

10th Kyu (White Belt) Beginners Class.

No experience of any martial arts is necessary. Beginners, and those with any experience in the martial arts are always welcome. Come down to a session and visit us.  You are more than welcome to train with us or just watch at any of  training sessions. If you would like to participate in one of our classes just wear loose clothes such as tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt. Yoshitaka is a very friendly club and we all look forward to seeing you soon.
