Sinful Cake & Lemon Lush Sinful Cake is a rich chocolate pudding and cream chease dessert with a nut crust. Change the chocolate pudding to lemon pie filling and it is just as good... its Lemon Lush! Lemon, cream cheese and coolwhip with a nut crust. | OVEN Preheat oven to 425° PAN Greased 9x13 inch glass pan Ingredients:1 Cup flour1/2 stick butter 1/2 cup finely crushed walnuts more chopped walnuts for garnish 7 oz container of cool whip 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature 1 Cup confectioners sugar 2 pkgs. of chocolate pudding - not instant, for lemon lush use lemon pie filling 3 cups of milk, for lemon lush use 3 cups of water |
Recipe:Ahead of time, bake the crust first: Combine flour, butter and walnuts. Press firmly into a well greased pan and bake at 425 for 15 minutes and WATCH IT! DON'T LET IT BROWN!Let cool in pan. Mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and cool whip. Spread on crust in pan. Cook pudding as directed except use 3 cups of milk. Spread pudding on cream cheese layer and refrigerate until pudding sets. Before serving, add more cool whip, if desired, and sprinkle extra crushed walnuts on top. Needs to be refrigerated. |
