To begin play you must have a deck. To create a deck you can use a program called Deckmaker or the built in program called Deckbuilder. I personally use Deckbuilder. To load up Deckbuilder simply go to File > Deck Builder. This will open up the Deckbuilder window. To build your deck you will need to open one of the definition files. Some definition files include all sets while others only include the set that they specify. To load up a definition file simply click on File > Data File. Your data files should be in the cardtable\data\"gamefolder" directory where "gamefolder" is the specific game you want to create a deck for. This can be SWTCG, SWCCG or any other game. This is what the Deckbuilder should look like with a datafile loaded in:

If your images are loaded in correctly to the correct path, the path being cardtable\cards\"gamefolder". "Gamefolder", again, being the game you want the images to show. In this specified "gamefolder" there should be other folders with the specified sets, such as: sithrising or anewhope. Usually the folder names will not include spaces but may include underscores (_) or the first letter of each word will be capitalized (SithRising). Please do not touch the folder names. Leave them as is.

To create your deck simply click on a card name from the list on the left and click add. This will add one card of that type to your deck list on the right. When you click on a card name, if your images are in the correct path, a small thumbnail will appear in a small window along with the card information in the bottom middle window. Keep choosing until you have sixty cards in your deck list.

Once you have your sixty cards simply click on File > Save Deck and give your deck a name. Your deck should be save to the cardtable\decks folder. Once you have this done, load it into Cardtable and check it out. This should be it. Now you are ready to play.
