The Million Eyes of Su-Muru
'The Million Eyes of Su-Muru' (1967), has a very impressive list of AKAs, 'The 1000 Eyes of Su-Muru', 'Slave Girls of Su-Muru', and for Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans, 'Episode K18'. This film has never been released as a video and today it is mostly famous for being an MST3K episode. I missed this on MST3K, but I caught the last few minutes of it on TV many years before that.
This movie, I beleive, is the epitome of the 'Scantily Clad Women Threaten to Take Over The World' genre of films. The film stars Shirley Eaton of 'Goldfinger' fame as Su-Muru, a character based on a series of Sax Rohmer novels. Su-Muru is the leader of a band of beautiful man-hating amazons intent on world domination. Frankie Avalon and B-movie hunk George Nader are featured as the secret agents who must stop them.
I've tried for some time to get a copy of this on VHS video, but to no avail. The reviews I've read indicate this is not a real high quality film. However, if the image of an army of shapely bombshells wielding machine guns in a fight to the death with a Chinese army regiment does not strike you as something you have just got to see then I have to say you are just way too normal to be at this web-site. Go away.
If, on the other hand, you actually possess a copy of this on VHS, either MST3K or straight, please e-mail me. We will deal.
