Oak Creek, WI - Brian Calhoun, a 5-11 190
(4.4) pound running back from Oak Creek, Wisconsin will be among
the nations MOST WANTED prospects in 2001.
Calhoun already has scholarship offers from Purdue, Iowa
and Wisconsin and several other football powers will throw
their hat in the ring very soon. Calhoun was the 2000 Wisconsin
Gatorade Player of the Year, rushing for 2,000 yards, scoring
40 touchdowns and averaging 11.5 yards per carry.
We recently asked Brian how the recruiting process was treating
him. "Everything is fine. I don't have any new scholarship offers.
I've dropped Tennessee from top five. I found out that
Tennessee took three All-American running backs last year.
I plan on attending the Nike Camp at Purdue (April 22nd)
and my top five right now would be Wisconsin, Michigan State,
Ohio State, Purdue and Iowa." Calhoun said.
