Potato Pancakes

	4	cup peeled, grated white potatoes (2 lbs)
	1	med. onion
	   1/2	cup flour
	   1/2	teaspoon baking powder
	1-1/2	teaspoon salt
	   1/2	teaspoon pepper
	2	eggs, beaten
		vegetable oil for frying
	
	Mix potatoes and onion in a colander, squeeze out as much
	of the liquid as possible.  Mix together dry ingredients in a
	large bowl; add potatoes and onion and toss to coat.  Gently
	mix in eggs just until blended.  Heat 2-3 teaspoon oil in a 
	large skillet over medium heat.  Fry batter about 1/3 cup at
	a time until golden brown on both sides.
