Procedure to Generate Accept/Check Job

  1. Sign onto SMP/E
  2. Choose option 2 – Sysmod Management
  3. Choose option 1 – Sysmod Install
  4. Enter zone name (DLIB) and press <enter>
  5. Choose option 4 – Accept
  6. Choose option 2 – Install
  7. Choose option 3 – Function
  8. Enter FMID and press <enter>
  9. Press <PF3>
  10. Press <PF3>
  11. Enter <continue> and press <enter>
  12. Enter <continue> and press <enter>
  13. Verify that Perform Accept Check and Groupextend is Yes and press <enter>
  14. Press <enter>
  15. Press <enter>
  16. Choose option E – Edit
  17. Add REGION=5M
  18. Press <PF3>
  19. Choose option S – Submit
  20. Review Job in IOF

    21. *** continue with step #21 to bypass HOLDs ***

    *** continue with step #34 when you are satisfied with your accept check processing ***

  21. Choose option 2 – Sysmod Management
  22. Choose option 1 – Sysmod Install
  23. Verify zone name (DLIB) and press <enter>
  24. Select Current Step by entering <s> beside selection
  25. Press <enter>
  26. Choose option 6 – Bypass System Hold
  27. Scroll down and select Reason ID to bypass by entering <s> beside Reason ID

    28. And press <enter>

  28. Select SYSMOD-ID by placing an <s> beside it and press <enter>
  29. Repeat step #28 if necessary
  30. Enter <continue>
  31. Verify PERFORM ACCEPT CHECK is set to YES and press <enter>
  32. Press <enter>
  33. Return to step #16
  34. Choose option 2 – Sysmod Management
  35. Choose option 1 – Sysmod Install
  36. Verify zone name (DLIB) and press <enter>
  37. Select Current Step by entering <s> beside selection
  38. Press <enter>
  39. Press <enter>
  40. Press <enter>
  41. Return to step #16
