Helmet covers

After or at the end of WW2 Sweden introduced helmet covers. I have no exact dates of the start.

This helmet net was introduced in 1956 and is a copy of the US Type I helmet net. It has a shape like a fat "8" and it has two hooks and a string. I'm not sure how one puts it on, but this is the shape I've seen in military books.

Overview.
The one on the right side is a second version of this net.
This net was probably made before the one above. I have pictures of it dated to 1954. It has an elastic band to keep it tight around the helmet.

Front.
Inside it had two loops to be attached to the chinstrap.
This camoulage cover is for the Coast Artillery and is said to have been used from the end of WW2 [A.Skötte]. It also fits well on the m/21 and m/26 helmets.
(From my private collection.)
It was held in place with a cotton string on the inside.
This helmet cover was introduced to the m/59 uniform. The rubber band was intruduced to keep the cloth in place.

On the inside the inner string also had to be tighten.
