Bill Poole's comments on Mauser Rifles

I think the Mauser Rifle is just about the neatest thing that goes bang.

I consider it to be a criminal offense to "butcherize" a nice military rifle in nice condition.

Some time ago, my club held a match for Mausers, Springfields, enfields etc here's a brief write-up (unpublished until now) on that Vintage Military Rifle Match,
