----------------------------
Before start ritual. Go out-doors and pick some
spring flowers to have on Altar. Such as Dandelion or
others. Arrange as you feel you want to have them.
The white Altar Cloth is used as it is the Light Half of
the Year. Also have the May Pole up in the middle
of the Altar.
Clear and release as always.
Cast the Circle.
Light Candles and Incense.
(If You want to, You can draw the candles
on paper, so it looks like they are burning)
Think about what You want to accomplish with
rest of the year. Pick up Your sheets of papers and
crayons/drawing pencils. On one paper You draw a
May Queen in Her form as a Mother, on other paper
You draw a May King in His form as Lover. When
finished put May Queen drawing on Left Side as it
is Her side, put May King drawing on Right Side
as it is His side.
Say affirmation to Goddess like this:
"Divine Mother Goddess, I am here to welcome You and
the Spring, and the beginning of the Light Year. The
time of fertility, growth and sensuality. I wish that
all my goals will become fruitful and succeed .
Thanking You for all the help I may need."
Next, say affirmation to God like this:
"Holy Father God, I am here to welcome You in Union
with Goddess in this in beginning of the Light Year.
Join Her with help in my goals, in this time of fertility,
growth and sensuality , So it will become strong and
united, and get it balanced. Thanking You for all the help
I may need."
After this sit a moment and feel the senses grow as
spring grows into summer, and Your goals grow with
Your intent and wish.
When finished. Take down Circle.
Snuff out candles and incense.
Clear and release as always.
Let things be on Altar until next morning.
Flowers until they not are fresh anymore.
