The Handfasting Ceremony
Sit down in front of the Altar. Light the white candles.
Call on the Goddess with this affirmation:
"We have gathered here today, in front of You Mother Goddess,
to make our wedding vows in this handfasting ceremony."
Light the red candles.Take each others left hand. I, woman,
begin reading my wedding wows :
" I love You, for everything You are doing for me.
For all Your warmth, Your generosity, Your kindness,
for Your support in everything I do, You tenderness
towards me when I have pain. Sometimes I feel, like I
am not worthy of all Your love that You are giving me.
I love You, more and more each day that goes by,
and You are truly my soulmate.
Thanks for everything You give me, and I love You,
now and forever, and will always be faitful to You,
to body and soul. Support and give You encouragement
when needed. Be by Your side when you need to cry,
laugh or talk.
The whole of me is Yours, both spiritually and bodily.
Love You, my Isis! "
Give my gift, a poem (reading it) and my own drawn handfasting drawing.

The Poem is this :
" True Love is a sacred flame.
That burns eternelly.
And none can dim it's special glow,
Or change it's destiny.
True love speaks in tendet tones,
And hears with gentle ear.
True love gives with open heart,
And true love conquers fear.
True love makes no harsh demands,
It neither rules or binds.
And true love holds with gentle hands,
The hearts it entwines."
Kisses him , to seal my wedding vows.
He, man, reading his wedding wows :
" I know I can be a pain and trying, sometimes,
but You shall know that I love You more than
everything, now and forever. "
Kisses me , to seal his wedding vows.
I, woman, reading the closure of our handfasting :
" This we have said in our wedding vows today, may
no one break. With our will, so mote it be and it is so."
Snuff out all candles and it is finished.
Then of course, we did what all newly wed is doing,
but that is a completely different story, though.
