Social  Commentaries

In Bradbury's novel, he states that they have begun to begin schools earlier. Reason being because of parents and their jobs.  They also take them to school earlier to start the learning right away.  I think this is a good idea because it leads to more education and more likely the ability to learn more.  The other side of debate would be that instead of the parents raising the children, the school would be and this will lead to less communication amoung the child and his/her parents.

In Fahrenheit 451, Bradbury brought up many social issues.  He explained how bad violence is getting in society.  There is more and more t.v shows promoting voilence in society today.  Almost every time you turn on the television, there is a movie where one person is killing another. I dont think this is helping society, I think it is hurting it.

In society today, gameshows have no specific topics.  All they talk about is movies, food, athletes, movie stars and stuff that isn't really important.  Todays television uses God as an advertizer for their adds.  Bradbury's issues on television's game shows have came true in the future and are getting more and more popular in society.

Bradbury writes about how censorship is affecting society. In some places they are trying to band certain books and in other places have already began to.  I think that if society weren't able to read these books in school, then the children wouldn't learn from the mistakes made in the book.  People are afraid that these books will make society worse than it already is but they haven't realized that the world has already visited these places and knows about each one.  In some ways I think censorship is good, well when you are raising a child, but people take it to the extreme.

Technology is a major investment these days.  People spend most of their wants instead of needs.  Brabary states that technology will increase with new doors that open by identifying your fingerprints,  animals that you don't have to feed and take care of, and big screen T.V.'s that you can clap on.  These new inventions are becoming more and more popular each and every day.
