River of Shame

My everlasting imagination
Has led me into temptation
My innocence flew away
Left me with nothing more to say

Can't neglect the facts
Burnt my hands with my acts
Now it's too late to run
Reached the point of no return

After cheating on my own soul
Can't look into your eyes anymore
Looking back on my behaviour so low
Wasted all my chances for sure

How can I forget
This fight inside my head
Now lying awake at night
Wondering how to make it right

Within a second Destiny changed
Left me here with my shame
When there's no one left to blame
