Age: Based on the fact that each season lasts one year in Japan and Gary was around 12 when the series started (oh, c'mon, he couldn't be only 10!!! o_O), he should be 16/17 on the last American season (Master Quest). But that's just my opinion, anyway.

Starter Pokemon: Squirtle (It's not a rumor, it's true, as you'll learn in a future episode that has only been aired in Japan)

Pokemon he has: In the anime, we have seen Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Arcanine, Krabby, Doduo, Eevee and Umbreon so far. Later on, we get to see Magmar, Scizor, Golem, Skarmory and Blastoise, which evolved from his starter, Squirtle. Of course he has many other Pokemon, but we never get to see them... u.u

Personality: Arrogant, snobbish, intelligent, smart and pretty mysterious. As time passes, his personality seems to improve greatly, and he becomes quite mature.

Usual Outfit: Gary usually wears a purple long sleeve t-shirt, blue jeans pants, brown boots with brown stripes and that ever-so-cool necklace, which, by the way, means The Sheep and The Lion or, as some might know it, Yin/Yang, both meaning that Shigeru has both, good and evil inside him! o__O
