My children and grandchildren are my
greatest gifts.
I gave birth to two beautiful daughters.
Kristi is my first born and now has three
beautiful children of her own.
Laura is my 2nd born and lives in Chicago.
Much too far away from her mama.

It gains in speed the older one becomes.
You came into my life,
Each a year from the other.
So much work and care involved,
Overshadowed by,
gifted moments
Savored as priceless treasures.
Little girls in ribbons and bows.
Giggles and smiles,
Midnight picnics,
Holidays and parties
And big girl dresses.
Then came schools, clubs and
Far off places,
Boys and dating and you
Making the choices.
You're all grown up
With lives of your own.
Beautiful, witty and
Charming ladies.
I am so very blessed that
God allowed me to bring you into this world
And share a portion of your lives.
The love I have for you
And the joy you have brought to mine,
Are beyond boundaries
That words could attempt to measure.
You have laced the purpose
Of my being
With the loveliness of your presence.
