I am sharing some of my thoughts and some that have come
my way by email or from friends. I invite you to ponder the
simple words for the thoughts behind them.
It doesn't cost a thing to give away a smile
but you might just make someone's day.
What goes around, does come around..
or in other words, "you reap what you sow".
Remember that children are "little people"
encourage them and never refuse a gift from a child.
Children are not a duty, they are a gift.
Silence may have a golden moment but is far greater
than an eternity of regret.
It doesn't take long to pray for someone and that is
the most important thing we can do for them.
Sometimes the child within needs to have a little fun.
Always, take time to smell the roses, they don't last long.
There is never the same sunset or sunrise and it's always
God's perfect ending or beginning of the day.
It's not so much what you say that matters, it's the
fact that you care to listen.
In order to have friends, you must be a friend.
Going out of the way to be kind or do something nice
gives you much more than the person on the receiving end.
How is it that when you're a child, Christmas takes forever
and as an adult, it comes every other month?
Either you have class or you don't and no amount of money
is going to buy it.
Things are temporary. The small things in life, moments
we share are those precious things that create the
treasury of memory.
My mama always told me, don't get even! Get Smart!
Do not allow someone's hurtful manner or deed continue
to have any power over you. She's a pretty smart lady!
Love not only heals wounds but God says
Love covers a multitude of sin.
No one knows everything! Learn from those around you
just choose wisely those you are surrounded by.
Prejudice, hate and bigotry make for a very miserable and
small life!
When life gets tough, you don't give up
you just get toughter!
The person you love, really isn't perfect,
it just feels that way.
There is absolutely nothing like holding a baby
next to you and I think they must still have the
scent of heaven still on them.
The elderly are one of our greatest resourches.
Learn from their wealth of information and be
entertained by their stories.
Season your words with kindness, for tomorrow you may
have to eat them.
When you plunge into the water
And you urge me to jump right in
Please understand
I've strangled before
And in the heat of passion
You bid me come to you
Please understand
I've been....
Please, just understand.
