The silence of whispered longing

Softly shaken from a covered knell

Enraptured in this waking beauty

Of an angel bound in hell

Fire masks the sweetened radiance

Of a peace known but to her

Bound in chains of earth and silence

Sweet perfume of burning myrrh

Beauty caged within a soul

Light and dark surround her

Battle the will, that makes her whole
