Empty (Otherwise known as Jealousy)

In a cavern called her mind
Evil secrets dealt
Lost in thoughtless time
Villains clouded up her eyes

And in the morning
Rose a creature
Renowned far and wide
Green eyes glowing

Jealousy spilled out that day
Suffocating land
Pulling all the madness
From their soft recline

Madness locked inside her
Echoes on the walls
Empty walks beside her
Drowning out her calls 

And when the morning rises
A demon rises too
Killing all the joyful things
That she brought to you

An illusion in the darkness
Is all we ever saw
She heeded all the warnings
She heeded all the faults

The mouth that once fell silent
Will be silenced here no more
It echoes in the silence
Bouncing off the empty wall

Empty heart, empty mind
Life is screaming from the end
Night will soon be fallen
And the demon sent to rest 

Lie with her then
While the creature takes it's rest
Lie with her with green eyes closed
Envy laid to bed

Empty bed beside her
Resting on the floor
In bed it's hard to rise
Without someone to call

Without someone to cling to
Without someone to cry
Without someone to sleep with
Without someone to compete with

In this race she's losing fast
In the end it just won't last
Too much pain and too much fear
Of the doom that's clouding here

But when conclusion rises
In the dawning of this age
We will all soon be grateful
For this mirror and this stage

The looking glass is empty
The stage will soon be too
For envy here is broken
Lost in it, with you.
