Twilight Call

Love resounds in midnight walls.
Can you hear them calling.
Wandering in the twilight dust.
The dusk of our surmise.

Wanton traveler, deep blue eyes.
Lord of mercy, lord of mine.
The burning world falls down around us.
Oblivious to care, we twirl.

Lost in love lit circles.
Pale moonlight pervades the aching mist.
The distance of a lover found
forbids the dance of euphoria.

Silent tears, silent cries
can not bring these lovers down.
Riding on the waves of oceans
deeper than the soul of good.

Riders in the storm,
the swallows fateful flight
Can not cease the love we've found
in eternity.

You and I, forever we shall be.
Light within darkness. Form without shape.
A confliction of souls, too far to change.
Every waking morning I see the dawn.

A new life begins.
